📝 Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 cup thick curd (hung curd or Greek yogurt)

  • 1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions

  • 1–2 green chilies, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 tbsp cornflour or bread crumbs (for binding)

  • Oil for shallow frying

👨‍🍳 How to Make Dahi Kebabs

Step 1: Prepare the Hung Curd

Take fresh curd and strain it in a muslin cloth for 2–3 hours to remove excess water. You need thick curd for the perfect texture.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, combine hung curd, paneer, onions, green chilies, coriander, garam masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add cornflour or bread crumbs to bind the mixture. Mix gently and refrigerate the dough for 15–20 minutes.

Step 3: Shape the Kebabs

Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round or oval kebabs using your hands.

Step 4: Cook the Kebabs

Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil. Shallow fry the kebabs on medium flame until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
